Each year, when compared to other Petit Verdot vineyards, the quality of this lot consistently ranks at the top of its class. Because of its naturally high levels of tannin, colour, and concentration, the wine is always placed into new barrels early in the harvest season.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1887\"\u003eMost commonly used in Bordeaux-style blends, this 2020 Petit Verdot makes an enticing statement on its own. Deep purple in the glass, aromas of strawberry and raspberry mingle with hints of cedar box and floral notes. The palate is complemented by velvety tannins and voluptuous flavours of plum, dark berries, and cardamom, all framed by a long, complex finish.
