Outside of its home on the Left bank of Bordeaux, perhaps no other area has become quite so synonymous with Cabernet Sauvignon as California, and the Napa Valley in particular. Indeed, it is the most widely-planted red grape variety in the state, and over the last 20 years winemakers have become far more attuned to the different styles that can be produced from different regions, so these days there is no such thing as a ‘typical California Cab.’
From Knights Valley to Oakville, Howell Mountain to Paso Robles, the stylistic differences and influence of terroir are both huge and fascinating. In this section we highlight the king of Californian grapes, let us show you the amazing range on offer from this stunning variety.
