The 2012 Vintage from Champagne Édouard Brun is a beautifully expressive Champagne from the exceptional 2012 vintage. Produced in Aÿ from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it brings together fruit from distinguished Premier and Grand Cru terroirs, with extended ageing on the lees adding depth, texture and complexity.
Golden in colour, the wine opens with an elegant combination of ripe citrus and white fruit, complemented by floral notes, honey, toasted almond and subtle brioche. On the palate, it is refined and beautifully structured, with a fine mousse, bright acidity and a savoury mineral character providing energy and length.
Hints of baked fruit, vanilla, butter and gentle toast develop with air, adding further layers to the wine’s complex personality. The finish is long, precise and wonderfully saline.
