Bottled only in outstanding vintages, this powerful wine pays homage to Luc’s great-grandfather, Gaston Morlet, who was known as a force of nature in his native Avenay-Val-d’Or. His pioneering spirit remains one of the driving forces behind the family’s passion for crafting exceptional wines.
Made from 100% Cabernet Franc, the wine is dark red with a hint of purple and offers an intense, complex bouquet of mocha, toasted coffee bean, and freshly cracked black pepper. The palate mirrors the nose, with additional notes of black raspberries, scorched earth, and forest floor. Full-bodied with a massive tannic structure, this one-of-a-kind wine is built for the cellar and will age gracefully for many decades.
