Description
The block that the grapes for this wine come from is very close to the Napa River, this proximity causes them to experience Noble Rot. This concentrates the sugars, flavours and acid in the grapes, perfect for a delicious sweet wine. Sauvignon Blanc has a history of being a fantastic grape for sweet wines, with the most famed producer (Château d’Yquem) using it as part of their blend. Expect intensity and length, with lots of both fresh and dried stone fruit notes, baked apple, blossoms, and toasted almond notes.
