Description
With over 600 acres planted to vines, the Stagecoach Vineyard is the largest continuous vineyard in Napa Valley. Pre-prohibition, grapes from this vineyard commanded some of the highest prices in Napa but the vineyard wasn't used for viticulture after prohibition until Dr. Jan Krupp began trying to revive the site in 1995. Now it is home to 16 different varietals across the 600 acres, with over half dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon.
Robust and powerful but with structure and elegance. Expect notes of cassis, blueberry, dark chocolate, bay leaf, cinnamon, and forest floor. Scored 96+ points by Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker on February 26th 2021.
Recommended drinking window 2026-2044.
