Le Caprice occupies a dramatic mountainside setting, rising above 1,000 feet in elevation with steep slopes and predominantly east and north-east exposures. The site benefits from a unique interplay between cool Pacific influences and the gentle warmth of the mountain climate. Its complex soils—composed of clay, silt and volcanic gravels—contribute structure, depth and a subtle mineral signature.
