Rodney Strong Reserve wines are the result of a careful blend of individual lots from meticulously farmed sections of some of the very best vineyards in Sonoma County. Created in their small lot Artisan Cellar, Winemaker Justin Seidenfeld employs techniques such as cluster pre-sorting and extended maceration.
2019 was an excellent vintage, with a wet winter reviving the soils and being followed by consistently warm weather that meant optimal ripeness was easily achieved.
Expect notes of black currant, cassis, crushed violet, vanilla, cocoa, with a herbal freshness on the finish to keep you coming back for more.
