Handcrafted from carefully selected barrels throughout the ageing process, each one chosen for its exceptional texture and concentration, this wine is blended to create the most elegant expression of Pinot Noir. The Signature Pinot Noir is refined and graceful in style, composed of fruit from some of the estate’s most mature vines.
Alexana was founded in 2005 by Dr. Madaiah Revana. His ambition was to make great wine — but unlike his Napa estate, where the focus is on Cabernet Sauvignon, here he set out to craft cool-climate wines capable of rivaling the great Pinots of Burgundy. Alexana occupies a remarkable site in Oregon’s Dundee Hills AVA, where volcanic and marine sedimentary soils converge. Its position on the back side of the hills ensures long hours of gentle Oregon sunshine, moderated by unobstructed, cooling Pacific breezes.
The three-storey, gravity-flow winery provides the ideal setting to produce high-quality wines that beautifully express the best that Oregon has to offer.
