Description
Juicy blackberry and blueberry are supported by crushed violets, black tea and notes of pastry. This is a serious Cabernet Sauvignon, beautiful to drink right now but will also happily gain complexity in the cellar over the next decade. A dry vintage caused the vines (already grown in low moisture areas) to work incredibly hard, producing small, deeply concentrated berries. This means deeper flavours, deeper colours, more intense tannin structure. All of this contributes to the wine's complexity and its ageing potential.
We recommend that you decant this wine for ultimate enjoyment.
