Deep and complex, Syrah is one of the favourite grapes of both Michael and David. This particular example is bursting with notes of wild berry crumble, plum, and cigar box. The palate balances the intense wild berry flavours of Syrah with the toasty spice that comes from 12 months in 68% American oak (80% new) and 32% French oak. Brilliant for pairing with richer meats, or dishes with a hint of smoke to them.
