Description
Protected from direct Pacific Ocean influence, Knights Valley is the easternmost Sonoma County appellation (known for its warm days and cool nights) and is the warmest viticultural region in the county.
A balance of moderately high daytime temperatures and cool evenings allowed for ideal flavour concentration without any loss of acidity. Harvest came earlier than previous vintages and was completed in under two weeks.
Expect notes of crushed blackberries, dark plum, cocoa powder, and wild raspberry all framed by rich velvety tannins with a long lingering finish.
