Description
The strongman on the label very much sets the tone for this wine, big and bold but also well defined. Blackberry, plum, and nutmeg hit the nose first, followed by blueberry crumble, cola bottles, and fig on the palate.
12 months in 82% French oak (30% new) and 18% American oak (100% new) gives a gentle spice to the wine as well as rounding out the tannins.
