The 2024 Honig Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant and beautifully balanced expression of California Sauvignon Blanc, combining fruit from Honig’s sustainably farmed Rutherford Estate with carefully selected vineyards across Napa and Lake Counties. Crafted by Honig’s all-female winemaking team, the wine reflects their distinctive approach to creating Sauvignon Blanc with both freshness and generosity.
The nose is wonderfully aromatic, with fragrant orange blossom and jasmine leading into layers of white peach, Meyer lemon and grapefruit. On the palate, bright, crisp acidity provides energy and definition, balanced by a gentle richness through the mid-palate that gives the wine an appealing texture and added versatility.
Fresh, aromatic and beautifully poised, the wine finishes with refreshing citrus and mineral notes. A touch more rounded and textured than many Sauvignon Blancs, it has the freshness to enjoy on its own, while its generous character makes it particularly well suited to food.
