Created as both a gateway to the region and an accessible alternative to the OLG estate wines, Acolytes captures the character of Santa Barbara in wines that are delicious, approachable and expressive of place.
The 2024 Acolytes Pinot Noir pours a deep crimson, edged by a vivid ruby rim. Aromas of black cherry, raspberry bramble and wild strawberry mingle with savoury notes of bay leaf and potting soil.
Energetic from the outset, the palate is vibrant with red and blue fruits, framed by soft, elegant tannins and bright acidity. Hints of amaro and pomegranate emerge towards the finish, adding complexity and lift.
Fresh, expressive and wonderfully drinkable, this is Pinot Noir with a distinct sense of place and an effortless Californian charm.
