Rodney Strong was among the first to recognise the unmatched wine growing potential in Alexander Valley and has been making Sauvignon Blanc from Alexander Valley since the 1990s. 2024 was a consistently warm vintage with plenty of sunshine. As the season progressed it was noted that the Sauvignon Blanc berries were notably smaller than average, leading to a lower yield but with an intense concentration of tropical fruit flavours due to the ideal ripeness of these smaller berries.
Expect notes of orange blossom, golden kiwi, yellow peach, passionfruit, and vanilla panna cotta all supported by an underlying mineral note and a bright acidity.
